The challenge
As the lead designer at Basetool, I took on the challange to reimagine and create the product and user interface for the Basetool mobile/web platform.
I streamlined the process of creating, managing and connecting businesses with their customers. The end result is enhancing both user control and online visibility, as well as increasing traffic and booking for all companies on the Basetool platform. Design system
Consistency was crucial in Basetool’s design. A significant part of my work involved building a design system with guidelines for color palette, typography, icons, grids, and component sizing and spacing. This system guarantees uniformity in design throughout the product on all platforms.
Dashboard
At first glance users are greeted with a visually appealing dashboard. Statistics, notifications, todays bookings, things to do and recently created content are all included as they are the most frequently used features and provide users with a comprehensive overview of their company.
Managing your company
Messaging between users, companies and channel administrators were an important feature. Notifications and will tell the user when they have been published in a new channel for more visibilty and promotion.
Create company
Creating a company on Basetool is a seamless and user-friendly process, designed to provide users with a comprehensive overview and control over every aspect of their venture. Whether it's the step-by-step creation flow onboarding or the full company creation experience the user will have complete control of all the features needed to enhance their online presence.
Onboarding
A step-by-step creation flow onboarding ensures that users can effortlessly input and manage essential details to enhance their online presence. The most important features such as company name, description, contact information, location and directions, opening hours, and imagery were selected for a fast onboarding.
Publishing
Publishing a company or new content with Basetool is a strategic and customizable process, allowing the user to reach their target audience through various channels with just a few clicks. By allowing users to publish on regional marketing websites and social media simultaneously, Basetool optimizes the exposure of their customers company. Seamless publishing integration with popular social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Google eliminates the need for more than one managing platform.
Create event
I focused on an intuitive and enjoyable experience for users when creating and managing their events. The step-by-step creation flow ensures that event organizers can effortlessly input and manage essential information, from event details to ticketing, providing a holistic overview for potential attendees.
Manage tickets
Users are able to create and customize tickets for their events. Defining ticket infomation, pricing, sale times, and availability. All in an easy to use onboarding flow. The flexible system that allows the customer to create and manage tickets efficiently, ensuring a smooth registration process for attendees.
Image Bank
The Image Bank provides users with a centralized and efficient hub for managing their visual assets. This feature is designed to streamline the organization of high-resolution images, offering tools for customization, categorization, and seamless accessibility.
Personalized homepage
Users with Basetool Plus is able to create a personalized company homepage to showcase their ventures in a visually stunning and cohesive manner. From branding essentials to seamless content integration, the platform empowers users to establish a strong online presence that reflects the uniqueness of their ventures.
Manage plans and payment
Account management on Basetool is easy. Empowering users with the tools they need to oversee their subscription details, view billing history, and seamlessly manage their plans. Once users decide to upgrade their plans, a streamlined and secure checkout process ensures a hassle-free experience. By minimizing friction in the upgrade journey you allow users to swiftly complete the transaction.
A clean and visually appealing plan comparison interface allows users to evaluate the features and benefits of different subscription levels.
